Let Guatemala's rich and vibrant Mayan culture guide your path on this distinctly unique 11-day experience of adventure, learning, and service, all against the unbelievable backdrop of majestic volcanoes, ruins, mountains, markets, jungles, and cloud forests.

March 7-9: Antigua

When you feel the rumble of cobblestone under the shuttle you know your adventure has begun! Your submersion of Guatemalan culture begins in majestic Antigua. Settled beneath three volcanoes, Antigua’s charming colonial architecture instantly turns any amateur photographer pro. While in the city you will sip on world renowned local-grown coffee, enjoy some of the finest local and international cuisine, learn to salsa dance, visit a coffee plantation by tuk-tuk, volunteer with a local service project, barter for local artwork and goods at the bustling market and fall in love with adorable Guatemalan children.

March 10-12: Panajachel

Drive amidst the mountains to Lake Atitlan and come face to face with what has been nicknamed "the most beautiful lake in the world." Experience the breathtaking view from Panajachel, a small town rich with Mayan culture. Explore the tranquility of Atitlan’s Nature Reserve on suspension bridges or nature trails. For thrill seekers: zip-lining along waterfalls, canyons and valleys awaits you-an unforgettable experience with incredible views of the lake and surrounding volcanoes. Partner with locals for a day of service to cap off your three day stay.

March 13-14: Flores/Tikal

A short flight from Guatemala City transports you to Flores, a beautiful island on Lake Petén Itzá. This charming town will be your home for two days as you enjoy time at leisure; relaxing by the water, canoeing, swimming or watching an incredible sunset from a restaurant. Explore Tikal, one of the largest archaeological sites of the Pre-Columbian Maya civilization.

March 15: Rio Dulce

Embark on an exotic boat expedition from the Carribean Sea through the jungles of the Rio Dulce. Enjoy a stop at a natural hot spring and swim under hot waterfalls en route to a private beach where you will unwind and watch the sunset over Lake Izabal.

March 16: Volcan Pacaya

Your final adventure will undoubtedly be one of the most unique experiences you will ever encounter - hiking an active volcano! Horses will take you through the forest surrounding the Volcan Pacaya, along the way take in breath-taking views of the volcano and surrounding volcanoes, valleys and mountains. Roast marshmallows on lava for a truly unforgettable experience.
