Bush & Beach Safari 2025

February 19 - March 2, 2025 | US$ 5,890

US$ 5,890 per person sharing (international airfare not included)

From the the lakes of the Great Rift Valley, to the open savannah grasslands of the Maasai Mara, to the white sand beaches of the Indian Ocean’s coast – this is Kenya, the wildlife capital of the world!  Known as one of the premier places on earth to photograph wildlife, this bush & beach safari gets us within ‘purring distance’ of the big cats, and into the warm waters of the Indian Ocean!

February 19, 20: Flight to Nairobi, Kenya

Your international flight takes you to Nairobi, Kenya (arriving Feb. 20). Upon arrival, Ryan will welcome you, before driving you to the nearby Emara Ole Sereni Hotel located on the edge of the Nairobi Game Park.

February 21, 22: Lake Naivasha

After breakfast by the pool, drive up the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley to spend some time with the children of the Strong Tower Orphanage, providing them with much-needed school supplies, planting tree seedlings to off-set our carbon footprint, and helping the children practice their English.  Descend into the Valley floor to shimmering Lake Naivasha for lunch, and the next two nights at the eco-award winning Chui Lodge.  Enjoy a boat cruise among the hippos, photograph the African Fish Eagle, take a walking safari in search of giraffe, followed by a night game drive in search of those elusive leopards!

After breakfast, drive past Mount Longonot on the way to the dusty town of Narok, before making your way to the private conservancies of the Maasai Mara and your Kicheche Valley Tented Camp for a late lunch.  Nestled near the river in a private conservancy, this location is ideal for photographing the big cats from withing ‘purring distance’.  Enjoy three days of wildlife drives in open-sided Landcruisers in this region famous for large prides of lions.  Meals and overnight at Kicheche Valley Tented Camp.

February 26, 27, 28: Fly to Diani Beach

After a final morning game drive in the conservancy, enjoy a delicious breakfast before transferring to the nearby airstrip to catch your flight (included) over the savannah grasslands and past Mount Kilimanjaro to the white sands of Diani Beach.  Enjoy three nights at the Almanara Boutique Beach Hotel, with all your meals and beverages included.  Spend time relaxing by the pool, walking down the endless beach, or snorkelling among the colourful coral and tropical fish.  Almanara Boutique Beach Hotel
