Carla Unger has spent 23 years in East Africa, growing up in between Canada and Kenya, and raising her family of 3 kids in Tanzania and Kenya. Carla has a bit of wanderlust and has always loved exploring new countries and meeting new people — but East Africa is her favourite place to be. Her love for the continent was deepened when volunteering as a nurse for 3 years in rural Tanzania, learning Swahili, and getting to know the local culture. Carla is passionate about connecting visitors to Africa, while seeking out new adventures that create a lifetime of memories.
