Depart Toronto and fly to Bogota, Colombia! After passing customs and immigration you will be met by Edward Denyer and escorted to La Candalaria. Tonight will be at leisure.There are plenty of great bars and restaurants, museums, churches and plazas all located in the La Candalaria neighbourhood to see. Private guided full day walking tour of the colonial "La Candalaria" neighbourhood. Enjoy the beautiful churches and plazas. Visit the Gold Museum to see pre-Colombian artefacts, the Botero Gallery as well as the neighbourhood of Usaquen. Dinner at Casa San Isidro tonight. Private transfer to the airport for your flight (included) to Armenia. Upon arrival, a driver will take you to the Coffee Reserva El Cairo. Enjoy the afternoon at Coffee Reserva El Cairo at leisure. This is a beautiful coffee house (finca) that's over 100 years old and spans over 100 acres! Salento is nearby, but there is lots to do on the property itself like bird watching, guided coffee tours, horseback riding, and mountain bike riding. Drive north with multiple stops in this famous coffee region. Stop in the small towns of Salento & Filandia and learn about their history with coffee. The trip out to the Cocora Valley is a highlight with its tall wax palm trees creating a memorable landscape. Private transfer to the airport for your flight (included) to Cartagena. Your driver will collect you on arrival take you into this beautiful city. Find a bohemian bar or local restaurant and enjoy local cuisine. Or take a cab to Boca Grande or Isla Baru and relax on these beautiful white sand beaches. Walk through Cartagena's colourful streets, stopping at Parque Bolivar, the Santo Domingo Church, and the Museo del Oro, before enjoying a delicious 3 course lunch. In the afternoon, drive to the Castillo San Felipe, the largest Spanish fortification in Latin America (1536).
